Alternative steps for setting up Concert Clients with Eclipse matrix
1. Browse to the Concert management interfaceand navigate to : System> Node > [Node Name] > Eclipse IVC-32 2. Remove all IVC-32 cards displayed byclicking on [remove]. 3. Open ECS/EHX 4. Within Cards And Ports screen, right-clickon the IVC-32 card, select Properties and configure all IP settings. 5. Within IP Devices screen, verify that the properConcert server is entered within the Concert Users section and click onthe refresh button. 6. Within the IP Cards on the same page, RemoveALL IVC-32 slot Concert panel assignments by right-clicking and selecting DeletePanel for each 7. Click Apply Changes (with reset) 8. Re-assign all Concert User Panels to IVC-32slots remembering to also add a Textual label for each (not automatic) 9. Click Apply Changes (with reset) 10. Within the Concert Management Interface,navigate to : System> Node > [Node Name] > Eclipse IVC-32 11. Click [modify] link adjacent to the IVC-32card shown in the table (will show the network address instead of the publicaddress)Note the format withwhich the hostname:port is shown (host name = IP address) 12. Modify the hostname with the public addressand port in proper format [IP:PORT] 13. Log off all Concert clients and log themback in. This accomplishes thefollowing:· Concert Client first logs into the Concertserver over 6001:TCP to authenticate with the EMS· If authentication was successful, Clienttears down the TCP connection and initiates an IVP connection with the IVR over6001:UDP· Once an IVP connection is establishedbetween the client and IV-R, a bunch of information is passed from the IV-R tothe client such as contacts, conferences, channels, etc. As part of thisinformation passed is the IVC-32 login credentials and hostname. · Once the IVC-32 hostname and credentialshave been received by the client and initialization of the client hascompleted, the client will initiate a separate IVP connection to the IVC-32card over 6001:UDP if in "Intercom Mode".· Once a connection to the IVC-32 card hasbeen established, a green indicator will appear at the top-right of the panel.
