Matrix: How do I make a Tel-14 listen to a audio feed automatically when a caller dials in

There are a couple of options if your dialing in – you could

a)       In the advance setting for the TEL-14 change from the basic application and set it to telephone-IFB and make a forced listen from the a 4wire to the TEL-14 port. (using ECS)

If using EHX use the virtual IFB page and set the Tel-14 port as a IFB destination

 b)      In the advance setting for the TEL-14 you can set the Assign DTMF codes and assign a listen label to the 4wire

  • this means the TEL-14 caller dials <number + access code> , dial in into the TEL-14 when it answers press 1 on their GSM key pad

  • Using the assign DTMF code screen you can program what you want to code 1 (each code has 4 talks and 1 listen selector)
