Matrix: Can I mix a V-Series pushbutton main panel with a rotary expansion panel?

Question:  Can I use a V-Series 24 key pushbutton main panel with a new rotary expansion panel configured as an IFB assignment panel?  Will ECS allow me to configure this combination?
Answer:  Expansion panel types (lever key, pushbutton or rotary control) may not be mixed in a daisy chain of such panels and must be connected to a main panel of the same type.  ECS does not allow the user to mix main panel and expansion panel types. 
In addition to this Desktop V-Series panels do not support connection to expansion panels.
