Matrix: Can I spread Agent-IC license across different IVC cards

Matrix: Can I spread Agent-IC license across different IVC cards

Question: We ordered 24 x Agent-IC licenses for a TV station. They configure 2 x IVC-32-HX in one frame and want to install24 x Agent-IC licenses. This time, we want to configure 20 licenses to one of IVC-32-HX,next one for 4 licenses. Is it possible ? If so, could you explain how to configure this. After that, if they want to change configure from above to all 24licenses to one of IVC-32-HX, how can we install?
Answer:
Applies to Agent-ICconnecting to Eclipse -HX 9.1 or earlier versions Agent-IC is licensed to the frame’s ID, notIVC-32-HX card.  So user can activate all 24 x licenses in one frameand assigned to any IP port of the 2 IVC-32-HX card.
We need the frame’s ID and PO to provide a licensekey. Example: If a frame has 24 licenses it is possible, without reconfigurationfor:--        20 users to connect to IVC-32-HX No. 1 and 4 users can connect to IVC-32-HX No. 2 or-        24 users to connect to IVC-32-HX No. 1   The 25th user toconnect to either card will be in demo mode ("Demo" mode which gives the user an opportunity to try the app and see if it fits their needs.  The users will see a demo mode indication while operating in this mode.) Note the EHX administratorcan stop a user connecting by changing his/her ID or password.
Agent-IC is available to matrix running EHX 8.5 onwards with IVC-32-HX cards.
