IP Products: What are LQ "Channel Events"?

LQ-4WG2 / LQ-R4WG8 interface Channel Events are used to program input and output relay VOX triggers (GPI/O)
in your intercom system.
Channel Events can be used to enable 2-way radio communication over IP, or send a control signal from a panel,
via a matrix to a 2-way radio. The GPO can also be used to turn on an 'on-air' light, open a security door or perform
any other function you require. Input triggers can be: VOX (activated by the detection of audio in a Channel), a Call
signal or a GPI control from another system.
A Channel Event occurs when an input trigger and an output trigger on ports that have been placed together in a
Channel are set to the same value.  Active Channel Events can be seen in the Assignments and Assignments
Overview page in the LQ CCM web browser.
