Wireless: Can I update the PD2203 splitter firmware via OTA or USB on a FS II base station system?

Question:  I'm in the process of upgrading a CellCom base station system to Freepeak II system, I understand the system components are upgradeable via USB or Over The Air (OTA) methods.  Does this include the PD2203 antenna splitter firmware?
Answer:  The following components will upgrade using USB / OTA upgrade method:
  • FS II beltpack
  • FS II transceiver antenna
The Base Station is upgradeable via ethernet or serial comms port
The PD2203 splitter module is only upgradeable via serial port comms using Flash Delevopment Toolkit software.
Note:  PD2203 splitters built prior to September 2014 will need a hardware upgrade in order to work properly with
Freespeak II Eclipse EHX 7.6 or higher systems and with Freespeak II base station systems.  Please contact the
