Matrix: How to perform a Bootstrapping (Blue/Black) reset on a Drake-4000 Pico

1)  Red Reset:To perform a red reset, Using a paper clip, press and release the System reset buttonThis is the same as power cycle, allcrosspoints will be remade made and all keys will stay in their current state. 2) Bootstrapping Reset:( ForcedPanel software upload)This is sometimes called a blue/blackreset. This form of reset is used to centrally upload new firmware to allpanels.The matrix will reset , all crosspoints will be unmade and return to the value set in the map, all keys will be un-made.All panels will lose any locally assigned labelsAll panels will be forced to update /upload their firmware from the matrix. To perform a bootstrapping reset is acombination of the three switches: System reset button, Enter button and theRotary encoder button.a) Press and hold BOTH theEnter button and the Rotary Encoder button in. b) Using a paper clip, press andrelease the System reset button, while still holding the Enter and RotaryEncoder buttonsc) Release the Enter and Rotary Encoderbuttons when you hear the matrix relay click.
