Wireless: How much loss can the Freespeak II fiber SFPs tolerate?

Question:  Do we have any data on how much loss the FSII SFPs used on the base and splitter can tolerate before
the fiber link stops working?
Note comments from end user below:
An excessive amount of fiber patching will be required. Note there may be between -5dBm and -9dBm loss just in the
fiber patching. Also, the distance is between 1500’ and 2000’, which will introduce another -1.0dBm to -2.0dBm @850nm,
and about 1.0dBm or less @1300nm. You will want to confirm with the manufacturer the maximum transmitter launch power
and the receiver sensitivity for the devices. Many older devices cannot handle a -5dBm to -10dBm drop. You may want to
double check with the manufacturer before any equipment is purchased.  Will the FSII base station & splitter allow for this much drop?

Answer:  These MULTI mode transceivers have a 10-15dB of power budget at 1310nm.  This would assume a connection from the FSII
base2 to the splitter via fiber cable.

Engineering - Worst case figures…
HLI-MMFO multi mode  SFP – 11dB
HLI-SMFO single mode SFP – 13Db
Attached below are the optical specifications for single mode and multi mode SFP transceivers.
