Matrix: Can I run V-Series panels using AES format?

The AES-3 option module adds digital input and output using RJ-45 or coax to V-Series main panels. If the AES-3 digital interface option is used to connect the V-Series main panel to the matrix it must be connected to an AES-6 Digital Interface instead of the MVX-16 serial ports on the matrix.
With EHX 8.5 the user can also connect V-Series panels equipped with AES-3 option to E-Madi cards on Delta, Median and Omega frames.  The E-Madi card connects into a suitable AES-3 infrastructure (like a Audio router, Sound desk or ProGrid).  V-Series panels equipped with the AES-3 daughter card can then be connected to the Sound desk stage box at the remote end
Upto 32 panels to be connected via the E-Madi card.

Looking for labels? They can now be found in the details panel on the floating action bar.
