Partyline: Can I plug in a PTX-3 transmitter into a MS-704 PL channel?
The PTX-3 is completely compatible with a party-line main station provided the dip switches on the rear of the PTX-3 are set to emulate the Clear-Com party-line 3-pin XLR intercom feed or set to emulate RTS channel 1 or channel 2. This will configure the PTX-3 to use its 3-pin XLR as follows:
Pin 1 = Ground
Pin 2 = +30 Vdc
Pin 3 = Audio at -10dbu
Set dip switch as follows for Clear-Com operation:
1, 2 and 3 to down position
4 to up position
Pin 1 = Ground
Pin 2 = +30 Vdc
Pin 3 = Audio at -10dbu

4 to up position
