Matrix: The Matrix event logs are written to the EHX PC, when ever the user starts the EHX application

The Matrix event logs are written to the EHX PC , when ever the user starts the EHX application AND starts the Event log screen. Once the event log screen has been started it can be closed and the system will carry on monitoring

The Matrix  event logs are stored in the EHXDataStore.sdf database and retained for a time configured from the App.config file, or from the registry (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\ClearCom\EHX Configuration System 8.5\Settings),   The App Config file can be found : C:\Program Files\ClearCom\EHX Configuration System 8.5.  Use Notepad to edit the file, The filee is a cyclic file, when it reaches the end it will start to overwrite from the top. The default is for 1weeks data written to the file on the PC hard drive  In the App config file look for this setting:  <!-- Valid values for the key 'AdmMessagesKeepPeriod' are           0 (Always)           1 (Day)           2 (Week)           3 (Month)      -->    <add key="AdmMessagesKeepPeriod" value="2"/>  The matrix holds the last 600 lines of status messages in NVRAM
