Matrix: How do I send a passcode to a phone bridge after connecting with my TEL-14 from a panel?
After making a call from a V-Panel or I-Station via a TEL-14 hybrid interface, it is necessary to re-engage the dial function (eitherby touching the #1 on the keypad in the 2RU v-panels or accessing the menu/dialon the 1RU models) before the secondary DTMF tones can be enacted to access thepasscode mode in a phone bridge or to dial secondary tones after the call has been established.
Note that this function may not work on EHX before version 9.1.
Example : using V-panel 2RU init
1. Select intercom TALK-key for TEL-14 hybrid interface
2. Press #1 on the keypad to enter dial mode and dial the main phone bridge number
3. Once you hear the automated attendant ask for the passcode to enter the phone bridge
4. Press #1 on the keypad to enter dial mode and dial the passcode number
On the 1 RU panels, or an I-Station without the dial pad, you can access the dial function in the panel's menu.
