Matrix: ICS Panels and MP3 interfaces on Eclipse Systems
Customers can upgrade SOME of their existing panels from their Matrix+3 system to the new generation Eclipse matrix
All MTX+3 panels will require a software upgrade to work on the Eclipse matrix.
ICS-92 / ICS-52 / ICS-62 / ICS-102 panels are supported on the Eclipse matrix ICS-2003 / ICS-1008 / ICS-1016 panels are supported on the Eclipse matrix I-SERIES panels are supported on the Eclipse matrix
Upgrading: ICS-92 / ICS-52 / ICS-62 / ICS-102 panels
IF
The customer has had a Matrix+2 in the past
AND IF
The serial number is less than #64000
THEN IT IS LIKELY THAT
The panel will NOT connect to Eclipse without an upgrade kit. The panel will need a revised COM-1A com port card, new v29c256 EPROM and replacement rear back panel with the RJ-45 connector on it.
The intended upgrade kit can be ordered from Clear-Com. Please contact your local Clear-Com agent.
ICS panels with this upgrade kit will not have any extension to their warranty as this kit does not replace the other panel’s electronics, displays, audio components and switches.
Upgrading: ICS-2003 / ICS-1008 / ICS-1016 panels
These panels will always be Eclipse compatible providing the COM port and panel electronics are in full working order.
Upgrading: I-SERIES panels
These panels will always be Eclipse compatible providing the COM port and panel electronics are in full working order.
TEL-14
All TEL-14 modules which have the extra switches for the TONE DISCONNECT AND
fitted with the new 710755 CPU modules will work with Eclipse.
Note; when using TEL-14s on a Eclipse-PiCo / E32 make sure they are connected to ports 17 and up to 32.
FOR-22 / CCI-22 / RLY-6 / GPI-6.
These panels will always be Eclipse compatible providing electronics are in full working order.
