In FreeSpeak II Base2, audio routes can be made between beltpacks and external interfaces by putting all members (audio feeds and beltpacks) in a Channel together. In this way, beltpacks, audio interfaces and the base all communicate with each other.  A Channel operates as a Party-line or conference.
You can see all sources in a Channel in the Assignments page.

In the screen shot above channel WPL 01 has the following members in it:
  • 4W-Port 1(port supports both talks and listens to / from external matrix comms)
  • BP 1  (supports talks and listens depending on key activations made by user)
  • BP 2  (supports talks and listens depending on key activations made by user)
  • Program   (supports audio into the base only)

The party-line channel operates in the following manner, all members can talk to and listen to all other members if they have talk / listen keys active or they are interfaces (permanent members).
