Matrix: XPL-22 Listen Label display access on a Split Label when connected to a Matrix +3 enabled ICS-2003 panel
Question: I have an ICS-2003 panel with an XPL-22 panel attached to it running Matrix+3 version 2.4.1 firmware. I'm using split labels on several IFB keys on the XPL-22 panel, the keys only show the "talk" half of the split label which is confusing the panel operators. Is there some way to toggle between the talk half and listen half of the key assignment so that the operator knows what listen labels are available to him?
Answer: Although not marked for the listen function, the center button on the ICS-2003 keypad (5) displays listen labels on any display expansion panel (XPL-12 or XPL-22) connected to the panel. Momentarily pressing and quickly releasing the (5) button will cause all XPL panels to display the listen labels assigned to the selectors. If the listen and talk labels are the same, then there will be no change. The function will time out after 10 seconds.
