Partyline: Can I expand a four talent MA-704 / PIC-4704 IFB system to 8 talent users?
Question: User has a MA-704 / PIC-4704 IFB talent system connected to a Clear-Com party-line system. He now wants to expand the system for 8 users, can he add on to the existing IFB components to increase the size of the system from four talent users to eight talent users?
Answer: Yes, this is easily done by adding a AX-704 expansion module to the existing MA-704 control panel and adding a new PIC-4704 Program Interrupt Controller to the the AX-704 expansion module. This will allow the user to add up to 4 more TR-50 wired talent receivers and or PTX-3 UHF IFB wireless transmitters to the system.
