Matrix: How do I defeat latch disable on a PL key on a Matrix +3 panel?
Question: Question: Some Matrix +3 intercom stations can not latch. Wondering where in the Matrix software can
we change to so all can latch. The Director wants the CAMs party-line to latch.
Answer: There are two locations in Matrix +3 software configuration menus where talk key behavior can be set for
latch and or latch disable status.
Global Advanced Tab
From the Global Advanced Tab select "Party-lines" to view all party-lines. From the latch disable column see if CAMs
has a check mark set against it, if yes remove it and click on Apply to update the Matrix frame.

Local Advanced Tab
From the local advanced tab go to the left hand side of the screen and select "Stations", then highlight the station where
the latch disable issue is occurring. Go to the right hand side of same screen, select "Party-lines" and then look in the
latch disable column for any party-lines that are set for latch disable and remove check mark. Apply change to frame and
then go to any other panels having key latching issues on party-lines.
