Wireless: FreeSpeak BPs losing connection when moving around
Wireless: FreeSpeak BPs losing connection when moving around
Customer has rechecked antenna placements and cabling no error found There are no external DECT RF sources causing interference
Following onsite visit - 2 faulty antennas were located - both antennas would go-online for a number few minutes - hence BPs would log into those antennas. then the antennas would reset and drop the BPs , making them "search" for a new antenna.
Tip: if you check the front Antenna LED status vs. the basestation LCD antenna status screen - and see that the number of status LEDs is different to that shown on the LCD , then this is an indication that one or more of your antennas may have an h/w fault and need to be repaired.
The LED is showing E1 / dect sync data link connection - which is a low level h/w status and can be "TRUE" even if the antenna is not actively talking to the basestation The LCD screen is showing hi-level communication between the antenna and the basestation - which proves the antennas is receiving and sending data-packets back to the basestation.
