Matrix: How to block incoming telephone calls on panels.
How to block incoming telephone calls on panels.Customer has Tel-14 (telephone) interfaces connected to his matrix. They are getting a lot of missed dialled incoming calls.
The ECS/ EHX software allows the user to set passcodes against each Tel-14 line. Incoming callers must enter a 4 digit passcode in order for the call to be accepted and audio routed to the panels .
This will stop people getting into the system all the time. Only those people who know the passcode will be able to get into the system.
Another feature the customer could program in ECS/ EHX, is In-ward DTMF routing which allows the incoming caller to enter a one or two digit routing code that will allow them to route directly to a panel, conference or group.
