Wireless: Why does a Tempest Base hold on to a full duplex slot when I turn the BP off?

Wireless: Why does a Tempest Base hold on to a full duplex slot when I turn the BP off?

This is a known bug. Fix available in v2.15 available.
The issue occurs when one turns off a BP, the base does not release the slot, as it thinks the BP is still on. When one re-powers up the BP, the slot it was in is still "filled" and the base sends the BP over to the 5th, split slot and that BP is no longer full duplex on all channels.
On a Tempest Base station, when in split mode, the base does not release a full duplex slot when a beltpack is powered down. When the BP powers back up, the base does not allow the BP to return to its previous slot, as it thinks that slot is still taken. This is a known bug. Installing TEMPEST v 2.15, available as of the week of November 21st, 2011 on the Clearcom website.
You will need to update the belt, base and PIC files. All bases and belts need to be updated. If you are using TDesk you will need to use this latest version (1.501).
