Matrix: How does the AP-22 assignment panel connect to a Main Panel?
Question: I need to connect an AP-22 assignment panel to an ICS-2003 main station. What cable and power supplies do I need to make the physical connections?
Answer: The AP-22 assignment panel needs to be connected to the ICS-2003 main station via a straight pin-to-pin DB-9F to DB-9M serial cable, the AP-22 also needs to be independently powered by it's own PSU, part # 400008Z (120 VAC) or a 400011 (220 VAC).
In addition to the physical connections and remote power requirements the Matrix +3 software needs to declare the AP-22 panel in the Setup / ports menu.
