At Clear-Com we are often asked about how to interface a walkie talkie to our Encore PL system.There are many walkie talkie units on the market world wide and each has a different connection method, often there is very poor information available even if the user manual for the walkie talkie is available the relevant pin out information required for the accessories connector is not available. We (Clear-Com) often have to resort to finding a good service repair center for the walkie talkie and request the pin out info
