Wireless: Can I adjust the sidetone level on the WBS-670 / 680 system?

The WBS-670 and 680 systems do not have a specific adjustment atthe base station or beltpack to adjust the level of the sidetone.
Sidetone is generated via thebase station and sent back to the beltpack, therefore the beltpack has to be on and transmitting an audiosignal to the base station and the base station has to have an active transmitsignal on and the channel on the base has to be enabled.
When this condition exists the beltpack willhear its own sidetone.  If the beltpack goes out of range of the base station the sidetone will go away until the beltpack comes back with range of the base transmitter.
The level of side tone heard at the beltpack is relative to the mic gain setting on the beltpack.
The beltpack has a microphone sensitivity leveladjustment pot, by adjusting the control clockwise the user can increase the audiolevel from the beltpack and the sidetone level back to the beltpack.  This level control can be found by removingthe small programming door on the back of the beltpack, the level control islabeled "Mic" and can be adjusted with a small blade screwdriver.  Note: When this mic level control is adjusted properly theBAT/OVERMOD led will flash occasionally when speaking loudly into the headsetmicrophone.
