Partyline: Can I remotely activate the RM-702 stage announce function?

The RM-702 stage announce function is only activated from the button on the front of the RM-702 panel.  This function cannot be remotely accessed from the rear of the panel via the DB-15 connector or the rear panel dip switch assembly.
The rear panel DB-15 only allows access to a set of relay contacts via the DB-15, this set of relay contacts on the rear panel is available for activating external switching, as needed when the announce button is pressed.
The dip switch only activates / disables the announce function on the intercom lines when announce is activated.  If the interrupt announce switch is set to the on position, pressing the announce button will disconnect the microphone from the intercom line(s). This will allow announcements to be made without being heard over the intercom channels.
