Wireless: CellCom 10 base has hum when connected to RTS PL system via TW-12B
Wireless: CellCom 10 base has hum when connected to RTS PL system via TW-12B
Customer had hum issues with a CellCom 10 base station interfaced to a TW-12B and RTS P31 power supply.
Apon further investigation the CellCom base was disconnected from the system. This eliminated the hum heard on the RTS beltpacks. We then substituted in a ClearCom PS-22 power supply and the hum was still present at the RTS beltpacks. We then moved the TW-12B from the rack to verify that the issue wasn't induced hum from the RTS P31 which was sitting directly above the TW-12B unit.
When the TW-12B was removed from the rack (still plugged into the system) the hum disappeared on the RTS beltpacks. The customer then relocated the TW-12B to an adjacent rack to prevent the induced hum from reappearing in the wired RTS comms. Re-connected the CellCom 10 back into the RTS PL system and no hum was heard on the wired or wireless beltpacks.
Resolved issues on site visit.
