MAtrix: I can't get ECS to comunicate with my Eclipse matrix

MAtrix: I can't get ECS to comunicate with my Eclipse matrix

These are the things you can check:
1. Check that the version on the PC corresponds to the one in the matrix frame.

- In the case of the Eclipse pico, you can see the information on the matrix display. - In the case of the Median and Omega you can always connect to the frame serially, run the matrix event log in ECS and request the information for the matrix overview and you'll see the version listed. VersionMatrix Event Log showsECS corresponding version1.30.6.201.31.50.6.341.52.00.7.562.02.1 (beta)0.7.72 (beta)2.1.17 (beta)2.10.7.752.1.192.2.10.7.75.C2.2.62.2.10.7.75.D2.2.64.00.9.334.0.384.110.44.1.334.1.110.54.1.414.211.24.2.165.012.85.0.415.0.312.85.0.425.0.412.95.0.42

2. If the matrix is in a LAN, try first by isolating the frame and connecting directly to it with your PC and and check that the 2 are in the same network and try pinging it.
3. If you can ping the matrix but you still cannot connect with ECS, check your firewall settings.
4. You can also connect to the matrix serially and change the IP address with the matrix event log. Remember to change the IP address in my systems accordingly and try connecting via ethernet once more.
5. If you still cannot connect to the frame you can try to upload the active configuration from the frame using the serial up-loader so that you don't lose the configuration in the matrix. Once you have this configuration in ECS don't forget to configure the IP and the assignment in my systems. You can do a serial download with the same uploaded configuration if you don't succeed with the rest of the steps. This will provide the matrix with the IP address and the configuration.
