Matrix: ICS-2003 power supply 5-pin connector part number
Question: We haves several ICS-2003 panels. Unfortunately the separate power supply units are failing, an alternative unit has been located OK, but it has a DIN connector not the locking connector fitted to the original equipment. There are no type numbers for the connector on the panel, PSU, or as far as I can see in the manual. Can you help with the part number for the PSU flying lead connector? It is a five way with female contacts and a locking ring.
Answer: We would advise customers to purchase a complete spare PSU from Clear-Com rather than use un-authorized replacements. The spare part number for a ICS-2003 PSU unit is PSU-24
The 5-pin locking connector is a CALRAD 30-518 connector, see below the diagram for wiring the connector and a picture of the connector. Clear-Com part number 210359.
