To use the CellCom or Freespeak configuration editor software in Ethernet mode directly from a PC connected to the CellCom base station a standard CAT-5 computer cross-over cable must be used. See wiring for the cross-over cable below:

An alternative to this connection scheme would be to use two standard CAT-5 cables and a Ethernet switch or hub to make the connections between the host PC and the CellCom base station.
