Wireless: Fixed role not available" displayed on CellCom beltpack
Customer re-registered beltpacks to the base for 5 of his 10 beltpacks,
Customer is seeing an error on 3 of the belt packs. It reads "fixed role not available."
Fixed role not available - usually means that another beltpack has already connected using that slot or role.
For cellcom 10 there are only 10 fixed roles. You link a beltpack with a role be registering it to one of the slots.
Possible solutions a) Another BP was registered using the stand alone Beltpack registration s/w and the new BP was registered using the Config editor b) That the map has got corrupted." - clear the list of registered beltpacks using the config editor - clear the complete map data using the reset config tick box in the config editor - reload the factory default map or an load an clean copy of the map into the basestation
