Partyline: Can I wire a CC-95 headset to a Sony CA537 camera adapter?
Partyline: Can I wire a CC-95 headset to a Sony CA537 camera adapter?
Question: I have an older Sony CA537 camera adapter and I would like to use a CC-95 headset for the camera user. Is it possible to use one of your headsets for this camera, the headset connector is a 3.5mm tip/ring/ring/sleeve and you have a 4-pin XLR connector.
Answer: Here is the pin out for the original headset used with this camera adapter, the headset originally used with this was a DR-100 headset with a 3.5mm TRRS type connector. the best solution would be to make an adapter cable with TRRS connector to a male 4-pin XLR connector.
