Matrix: Can I use a matrix GPI to flash a LED on a panel

Matrix: Can I use a matrix GPI to flash a LED on a panel

Is itpossible to drive an indication on a panel key from a control (from a GPIultimately)? Ideally I am thinking of an indication in the key label like thecolor inversion that happens when you push to talk normally. My intendedbehavior would be that I can set up a key to trigger a relay to an externaldevice and that same key will display an indication when it gets a GPI backfrom the external device.
Using Logic Maestro you can access the RED or Green LEDs associated with the key but thereis not a way to invert the key display, Possiblealternative method would be to use a spare port and give it a dummy name (label)When theGPI is active setup a dummy route from the spare port to the panel. This willcause the name of the spare port to appear on the panel reply key or if youhave the spare port assigned to a normal intercom key then that key will flashas if you had a incoming call.
The example below shows that when control CT001 is activated the Red LED associated with the CAM1 label on the sound panel will flash at 1 Hz.In ECS the control CT001 can be linked to a matrix or panel GPI.
