Matrix: CPU-100 Matrix +2 controller card pushbutton functions
Question: I have a Matrix +2 frame and I want to reset the crosspoints on the frame. When I open the front panel of the frame and locate the CPU-100 controller card, there are three pushbuttons on the frame card. What are the functions of these three pushbuttons?
Answer: See the picture of the front panel of the CPU-100 card pushbutton locations
CCReset Button - this button resets only the CPU-100 card, when pressed this causes the CPU card to reset internally, it does not interfere or interrupt with MTX card or panel operation. The CPU card takes about 30 seconds to complete it's reset operations
Master XP Reset Button - this button when pressed sends a "reset" command to all of the MTX-100 crosspoint cards in the frame, this causes all frame cards to reset. When the reset is completed all existing crosspoints (talks and listens) are set back to their non-active state.
Default Button - when pressed for longer than 5 seconds this button causes the CPU-100 card to load in the "default" configuration stored in the memory of the CPU card.
