Q: I have a client who wishes to adapt a set of David Clarke aviation headsets to operate with an HME DX 100 intercom. I am aware that some intercomsystems supply a voltage to the headsets that could cause damage and I do notwant to risk damaging the DP’s headsets or the Grips beltpack. Are you able to advise me onwhat adaptations., if any, would be required to make this request work.
A: Our DX beltpac will not harm the dynamic microphone in theDavid Clarke headsets.
