Matrix: How do I get a group key to flash on my panel when a member of that group calls me (using logic maestro)?
Matrix: How do I get a group key to flash on my panel when a member of that group calls me (using logic maestro)?
I have a Drake 4000 system that I am migrating to Eclipse. There is one function that I cannot seem to get working on the Eclipse
the thing is :
when panel A ( which belongs to a group named GROUP ) from system 1 is calling panel B at system 2 : the key labelled "GROUP" at panel B had green led on !
thus, when the B operator needs to answer the call, he knows which key he can press for the answer (the green led key)....
Yes you are correct on the Drake 4000 there is this function (but we cannot confirm if it worked across a linked network of matrices) We can confirm that it works if everyone is on the same local matrix. Note: Conference in-use tally does work across network (Drake & Eclipse) For Groups (on Eclipse) the only tally we have at version 5.2.3 ... we have the group “in use tally” as you know which flashes when someone talks > to the group. The only work around we can think of making this work is to use logic maestro for local panels or across networkSo they are 2 sections to the macro a) Local panels / ports on system 1 – talking to the main panel (A) on system 1 Make a logic Xpt trigger Source = Group (the people who call panel main panel)Destn = the main panel<Triggers a> Panel indication Flash the red Led on any key with the label “group” on the main panel b) Remote panel /ports on system 2 – talking to the main panel (A)on system 1 Create a group <main panel-G> on system 1Add inside the group only 1 member – the main panelAttach secondary action to the group using control CT001 (the control can be left empty) Add the group called <main panel –G> to the key on a panel in system 2 When the system 2 panel calls the main panel via the <main panel G> key it will trigger the control CT001 Inside the macro –Control CT001 <Triggers a> Panel indication Flash the red Led on any key with the label “group” on the main panel

Looking for labels? They can now be found in the details panel on the floating action bar.
