DynamEC (Production Maestro) can be set up to start with a preset Layout and Configuration. 

Taking these steps makes it simple for a general user to simply click on the DynamEC shortcut, and they will get the Layout they need and the system will link up to the frame without them having to do anything else.
Adding startup options to DynamEC is done by extension modifiers, which can be easily added to a standard shortcut.

To enter DynamEC (Production Maestro) with a preset .ccn and .ccr, you need to start the program using the correct modifiers.

The simplest way to do this is to:- Create a shortcut to the DynamEC (Production Maestro) exe file

- Right Click on the shortcut, and select 'Properties'- Enter the 'Shortcut' tab in the popup window

- Add a space, followed by the full path name of the desired file in quote marks at the end of the Target line (but before any / modifiers such as admin, associated panel etc).

Examples. (using production maestro)

• To add a .ccr layout file, I would change my shortcut Target line to something like this:"C:\Program Files (x86)\clearcom\Production Maestro\ProductionMaestro.exe" "C:\layouts\MyLayout.ccr"

• To add a .ccn config file, I would change my shortcut Target line to something like this:"C:\Program Files (x86)\clearcom\Production Maestro\ProductionMaestro.exe" "C:\configs\MyConfig.ccn"

• Or, I could add BOTH"C:\Program Files (x86)\clearcom\Production Maestro\ProductionMaestro.exe" "C:\layouts\MyLayout.ccr" "C:\configs\MyConfig.ccn"
  
  
  
  
  
  Additional extension modifiers can be added added to the end of the line to further tailor the experience.
  
  
  Example for newer EHX such as version 12.4, shortcut would be:
  

target location would be "C:\Program Files\ClearCom\Dynam-EC 12.4"

Note for multi matrices linked system:

The file for connecting to specific frame(s) exported from EHX is a .hxdeci file. That would be the crucial one (so that one does not get the pop up to ask which frames to connect to).

To create the .hxdeci file go to: File->Save DynamEC Information in EHX and select the matrices you want you Dynamic instance to connect to.
