Matrix: How do get all the V-Series firmware versions on a ECS 5.2.3 system?
Question: I've upgraded my Pico system from ECS 5.1 to version 5.2.3, all the connected V-Series user panels and frame were upgraded. Is there a way to go to the V-Series panels locally and query the panel without having to unplug the CAT-5 cable from the panel (some panels cannot easily be accessed from the rear of the panel to unplug the CAT-5 cable)?
Answer: Yes, the user can access all the firmware version on a V-Series panel by accessing the panels Local Maintenance Menu (LMM). To access the LMM on a V-Series panel on a 1.21 application or later panel press the "Menu" button and then press the "Info" auxiliary audio knob to display the LMM. Select "Panel Info" to enter the maintenance menu. The following information should now be displayed:

version
This shows the versions of various components of the system. Display 2 shows the component and may be adjusted. Display 3 shows the version of that component. The versions are not adjustable.
Press the volume up/down keys (lever key and pushbutton panels) under the ’app’ display to scroll through the panel software
components. On rotary panels use the rotary encoder and the talk button to scroll through software components.
Current components shown in window 2 are (ECS 5.2.3 version shown in RED):
• app - the panel application version 1.89.0
• kernel - the μlinux kernel version 2.6.19
• uboot - the uboot TFTP Image code 0.17
• rootfs(v) - version kernel root file system 3.1.0
• rootfs(d) - the date of the kernel root file system March 19 08
• modules - the version of the module firmware and bootloader 38.2
• sound - the version of the sound drivers 1.37
