Wireless: Why are we receiving "system busy" when we are the only using two BP200´s (the rest are turned off)?

Question: Why are we receiving "system busy" when we are the only using two BP´s (the rest are turned off)? Why is there a problem to be let back into the system when we have been "out of range"? Even if you walk back into the zone, where you know you have full coverage, it often takes time before you are let back in.

Answer: The “out of range” and “system busy” problems are both coverage issues which can be corrected by reinforcing the RF distribution by way of adding higher gain antenna and or re-positioning existing antenna. The beltpack will still be connected to the base but the integrity of the signal is degraded to the point that return transmission for talk back is not possible hence the prompt. This degraded signal will also result in a delay in reconnecting to the base if the user steps out of range and then steps back in. They may need to come closer to the base before a signal is good enough for signal lock.
