IP Products: What port options / baud rate settings are available on the LQ-4W2 interface?

Port Type

4-Wire Ports

  • These are analog balanced line level input and output signals on a single RJ-45 connector.

Port Options

  1. To Matrix

    • LQ’s default port option

    • Allows connection to matrix frames

  2. To Panel

    • Allows connection to 4-wire devices by switching the pin polarity

Baud Rate

  1. 9600 (Drake 4000)

    • Drake 4000 matrix frames

  2. 19200 (Eclipse)

    • ECS and Eclipse matrix frames

Other Settings

  • 4W Port Label

    • Clicking on a blue label header will allow you to change the name of the port.

    • Enter the new name and either press the <ENTER> key or click the blue check mark to apply changes.

  • 4W Port Input/Output Gain

    • -12 to +12 dB
