Digital Partyline : Is there a noise gate (VOX) setting on the Helixnet 2W module ?
Yes There is a noise gate (VOX), this allows the Helixnet user not a hear a constant noise from the PL line but only open the talk path from the external PL system when someone is actively talking
The noise gate is VOX in the menu. It can be disabled in theModule menu.TheContour filter brings up the higher frequencies and brings down the lower ones.
Some customers find turning the Contour Filter off , setting the headroom to high and turning offthe Headphone audio tracking makes the audio more consistent from the external PL line rather than using the noise gate.
