HelixNet: Do I need a specially modified HMS-4X main station to use IKB-12 panels?

In order to run a HelixNet system with IKB-12 user panels the user will need the following:
  • HMS-4X with firmware version 2.1 (v2.1 will only run IKB-12 panels)
  • The HMS-4X will require an ethernet module (HLI-ET2)
  • PoE ethernet switch to supply IP and power connections to the IKB-12 user panels
  • PC to support the embedded web browser on the HMS-4X main station (panels are programmed via the browser only)
  • HS-6 handsets for the IKB-12 panels
  • This will support up to 64 IKB-12 user panels on a single HMS-4X main station

  • Do not connect standard Helixnet BPs , Remote speakers or Speaker stations to a HMS-4x unit that is running IKB V2.1 code. they will not operate correctly
