IP-LQ: How does LQ-SIP intergrate with the Eclipse matrix at v9.1

  • Can a panel intercom key be configured to automatically answer an incoming call?
    • The LQ will auto-answer an incoming SIP call this will be directly signaled (using off-hook tally) on an intercom panel or additional digits can be collected for the caller to further direct his own call to allow for DDI operation using the IN-ward DTMF function

  • Is it possible to assign a panel intercom key to work in the same way on a Freespeak II belt pack (providing the Delta frame is hosting the Antenna)?
    • Yes, it should work as above

  • Is it possible to assign a SIP channel to the Helixnet?
o  Yes,  you can link a Helixnet base to a LQ unit. The LQ will become part of the Helixent Link Group . The 2/4wire ports on the LQ units can now be assigned to any channel on the Helicxnet system
The LQ can operate as aSIP gateway for Helixnet. in this mode use the LQ-CCM to control the SIP incoming/ outgoing calls.
  • I understand it will now possible to communicate between Helixnet and Delta (Panels) over IP, is this correct?
    • Yes, the LQ can connect to a Helixnet unit and also via IVC ports to a DELTA
    • The LQ ports and LQ-IVC ports can be placed into a Helixnet channel to allow all ports to talk together
    • Note when a LQ is connected to a Helixnet all SIP management is done via the LQ CCM
    • You can connect another LQ unit directly to the Delta frame and allow panels on the Delta frame to dial out via SIP
