Partyline: How do I connect the MA-704 / PIC-4704 IFB system components together?

Question:  Looking for the best option to link an MS-704 main station and PIC-4704. The preference is to use the gooseneck mic on main station to feed the IFB system. Would that be the hot mic or can I designate a channel on the MS-704 to feed the PIC-4704. We will also be using a MA-704 with the system.
Answer:  The best place to put the gooseneck mic  / headset is the MS-704 main station.  That way it can be used to trigger a talk to one of the four party-line channels using the channel talk buttons or it can be triggered to activate a talk to the MA-704 / PIC-4704 by using the “Announce” button on the front panel of the MS-704 when the rear panel “hot mic/IFB” TRS connector is wired to the MA-704 rear panel TRS “External Line In” connector.
The MA-704 is in turn wired to the PIC-4704 via a 6-pin XLR to 6-pin XLR cable.  Intercom power to the MA-704 / PIC-4704 is supplied by the MS-704 via a 3-pin XLR cable to the PIC-4704 3-pin power XLR connector. The TR-50 talent IFB receivers are connected to the PIC-4704 Talent A, B, C and D outputs.  The PIC-4704 accepts 1 or 2 different line level program feeds that can be selected from the PIC-4704 front panel.
An interconnection drawing with the MS-704, MA-704, PIC-4704 and TR-50 hardware is attached below as a PDF document.
