Digital Partyline: Can I Convert the Helixnet HLI-FBS (fibre link) to Ethernet?
The HLI-FBS - HelixNet Fiber Modules runs optical Ethernet links at 100MB. Should it be desired to convert these runs to twisted pair Ethernet on RJ45 connectors, a 10/100MB media converter may be used.
Please note; that 1000MB Ethernet media converters are normally not capable of operating at 10/100MB.
