Wireless: CellCom 4-wire port is causing feedback on my Matrix user panel

Question:  I have a CellCom system connected to my Matrix frame via 4-wire connections.  My Matrix panel users are complaining that they are experiencing a loud feedback when they try to access the CellCom 4-wire port talk / listens.  Can you point out to us what may be causing this issue?
Answer:  Check Config Editor GUI ports tab menu the 4-wire ports cross point assignment drop down box.  If the port cross point assignment is set back to the 4-wire port it is in essence looped back to itself and this will cause the feedback when the talk and listen are active at the Matrix system user panel.  See the explanation below from the CellCom user manual:
CROSS POINT ASSIGNMENT DROP-DOWN BOX
This is only active for headset, partyline and 4-wire ports and IFBs. For a front panel headset port, it specifies the port which is called when the
"Talk" button for that port is pushed.  For a partyline or 4-wire port, it causes a permanent talk path to be created from the port to this destination.
For an IFB it creates an IFB from the port to the destination.
