Matrix: Using two relays to switch IFB feeds on a Matrix +3 frame

Question:  I have a COM-72 Matrix +3 frame and I would like to use two RLY-6 relays to switch balanced line level audio feeds using a key on the tech directors ICS-2003 panel.  Can this be easily done?
Answer:  Yes, two relays can be configured using PGM-WIN to toggle between two separate IFB feeds out to remote talent.
From the PGM-WIN setup screen:
  • activate relays #1 and #2 from the Attachments screen (check available, check activate with talk and or listen)
  • create a control key from the Hardware and Labels / Controls screen

From the PGM-WIN configure screen:
  • attach the two relays to the control key from the Attachments screen
  • add the control key to the required panel(s)
  • route the IFB feed to the COM-72 port configured for an global IFB
  • activate the control key with a talk / listen activation and observe relay activation and IFB feed change
