Wireless: Can I change the UPX-10 IFB Tx to connect to RTS or Balanced Inputs?
Connect the system's audio source to the XLR connector located on the rear panel.Verify which type of connection is to be used (Clear-Com 2-wire PL, RTS 2-wire PLor dry Balanced Audio input) If this is a balanced, transformer-isolated input, which is dc isolated to 50 volts. For thestandard mic-or line-level input modes, the pin assignments on this connector are: pin1: shield, pin 2: audio positive, pin 3: audio negative. When internally programmed for use with a Clear-Com or RTS intercom, the pinassignments will be consistent with that required by the intercom system. Theprogramming jumpers are located inside the unit at the rear of the PCB, near the XLRconnector. Programming is as follows on chart below:
