Wireless: Can a Vega U2020 wireless mic be rebanded to operate below 700Mhz?
Vega U2020 wireless microphones were only designed to operate in the 700Mhz band in four different bands. The same is true for the MC2020 multicoupler due to the ceramic filters deployed in the front end of the receivers and multicouplers.
Band A: 746 - 766MhzBand B: 762 - 782MhzBand C: 708 - 728MhzBand D: 728 - 748Mhz
These units cannot be rebanded to different bands below 700Mhz in order to meet US FCC compliance that wireless microphone systems operate below 700Mhz.
