Matrix: How do I load a new ECS 5.2 layout configuration into a processor card slot 1 - 4?
The Eclipse series frames (Pico, Median and Omega) are all capable of holding up to four configurations on the processor card, they are labeled 1, 2, 3 and 4. The user can access them locally at the frame by cycling the config button on the Median or Omega CPU processor card, on the Pico frame the user presses the config button on the front panel of the frame.
If the user selects a slot without a configuration the selection will bounce back to the slot with the active configuration.
To load a configuration into an unused slot using ECS 5.2, follow the procedure outlined below:
1. Open ECS, then select create a new configuration layout in ECS 5.2 (close any other open projects in ECS).
2. Assign the new configuration layout to the desired slot (1 to 4) by clicking on "Options" in the top menu bar
3. Build up the new configuration by declaring port functions (panels, interfaces, directs etc) and assigning key labels to panels
4. Push the new layout to the frame with a frame reset
5. Once the frame reset is completed, manually toggle the config button on the processor card until the desired slot is reached, then press and hold in the config button until the selected flashing number becomes solid, release the config button, the number will disappear for a moment and be replaced by several red dots, the frame will reset and the selected config number will show on the config card display
6. Once reset is completed the frame will be operating on it's selected configuration slot and can be operated /edited as desired
7. To load another configuration layout into a different processor card slot, close ECS 5.2 and repeat the process starting with step #1.

Looking for labels? They can now be found in the details panel on the floating action bar.
