Matrix: How to set up an IFB-104 for IFB operation with Eclipse
The IFB-104 provides an easy way to connect Matrix panels to on-air talent using IFB (Interruptible Foldback).
The interface provides an audio-balanced program input to a Matrix frame and sends IFB outputs to on-air talent, therefore the same port on the matrix receives the program sound and sends audio to the on-air talent.
For the On-Air Talent to receive the program feed that was connected to the IFB-104, one will have to set up a forced listen in ECS Local Advanced between the input and the output of the port that has the IFB-104 connected to it.
For the program feed now received by the On-Air Talent to be dimmed or cut when being talked to, one will have to set up the port that has the IFB-104 connected to it as a Global IFB in ECS Cards and Ports (Matrix Hardware for 5.1.3 and previous versions).
