When license transfers from WebDepot do not work please troubleshoot as follows:

STEP 1: Ensure the CodeMeter App is successfully installed and running in the background of the computer

CodeMeter running - also check Task Manager

STEP 2: Ensure Station-IC senses the presence of CodeMeter
Once CodeMeter is installed, Station-IC Settings dialg will display links to WebDepot and WebAdmin in addition to hiding the Download and Install CodeMeter License Manager Icon

If you see this icon, CodeMeter is not successfully installed and running

The Launch links will become available in Station-IC Settings when CodeMeter is fully installed

STEP 3: Ensure CodeMeter has a “Clearcom-Universal” license container
Normally the container is generated upon CodeMeters first communication with WebDepot

This instance of CodeMeter has two containers ready for use

STEP 4: Ensure CodeMeter is allowed through the Firewall of the Operating System
Some Operating Systems may prompt for Firewall access when CodeMeter gets installed. Ensure that the computers firewall allows CodeMeter through the Firewall .

Ensure CodeMeter is allowed through the Operating Systems Firewall

STEP 5: Restart CodeMeter Service
Restarting CodeMeter Services can be done from the CodeMeter application from within the Processes menu.

CodeMeter background services can be restarted from the Process menu
